By accessing our website or submitting an inquiry, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Specific masonry or stonework projects will also be governed by a separate written construction agreement, which will control in the event of a conflict.
We provide professional masonry and special trade contracting services, including but not limited to custom stonework, bricklaying, concrete flatwork, retaining walls, patios, and architectural masonry. The specific scope, building materials (e.g., natural stone, brick, veneer, mortar), structural requirements, pricing, project schedule, and deliverables will be strictly detailed in the applicable written construction agreement, proposal, or estimate.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, preliminary estimates are provided for planning purposes and are valid for 30 days. Final project costs may vary due to concealed or unforeseen structural conditions, changes requested by the Client, fluctuations in the cost of masonry materials, or municipal permit inspection requirements. Any material changes to the agreed stonework scope must be documented through a written change order.
Clients are responsible for paying amounts due under the applicable masonry construction agreement, estimate, or payment schedule. Project costs may include labor, specialty stone or brick materials, equipment usage, waste disposal, and permits. The Company reserves the right to suspend masonry or concrete work when amounts that are materially due and payable remain unpaid, subject to applicable Connecticut law.
The Client agrees to provide the Company, its crews, and authorized material suppliers with safe, unobstructed access to the property during scheduled working hours for the delivery of heavy masonry materials and equipment. The Client is exclusively responsible for removing or securing personal belongings, vehicles, fragile items, and landscaping features located in active work areas prior to our arrival.
Project schedules and completion dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. The Company shall not be responsible for delays beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather (which directly impacts mortar curing and masonry integrity), specialized stone supply chain shortages, labor availability, unexpected site conditions, municipal permit processing delays, or Client-requested design modifications.
Our masonry and stonework services will be performed in accordance with applicable Connecticut building codes and generally accepted special trade industry standards. Specific workmanship warranties will be stated in your written project agreement. We do not provide a warranty for existing foundation shifting, soil erosion, or drainage conditions that fall outside the explicitly agreed scope of work.
The Client agrees to provide accurate information regarding property boundaries, underground utilities, and grading. Where applicable, the Client is entirely responsible for obtaining required municipal zoning approvals, building permits for retaining walls, or Homeowner Association (HOA) permissions before exterior masonry or hardscaping begins.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RONNIE DEMEO CONSTRUCTION, INC. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use or our masonry contracting services.
