RONNIE DEMEO CONSTRUCTION, INC. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") provides these Terms and Conditions to govern your access to our website and our professional masonry, stonework, and special trade contracting services. By requesting a project estimate, communicating with us, or authorizing site work, you ("Client," "you," or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, except where a separate written construction agreement governs a specific project.
We provide professional special trade contracting services specifically focused on masonry and stonework. This includes, but is not limited to: brickwork, stone facades, retaining walls, patios, walkways, chimney repairs, and structural masonry. The specific project scope, material specifications (e.g., type of stone, brick, or paver), pricing, and warranties will be defined exclusively in a separate, fully executed written contract or estimate.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, initial masonry estimates provided by our team are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Estimates are based on visual site inspections and information reasonably available at the time. Final costs may change due to concealed or unforeseen structural/soil conditions discovered during excavation, changes in raw stone or brick pricing, or client-requested material upgrades. Any material deviations require a formal, written change order approved by the Client before additional work proceeds.
Clients are strictly responsible for funding their masonry projects according to the payment schedule and milestone terms contained in their specific service agreement. Deposits are generally required before our crews begin ordering custom masonry materials (e.g., specialized stone cuts, custom pavers). In accordance with state law, we reserve the right to suspend work for materially delinquent payments and may apply a statutory mechanic's lien under Connecticut law to the property for unpaid contracting fees, labor, or building materials.
The Client agrees to provide the Company's masonry crews and material delivery trucks with reasonable, safe, and unobstructed access to the property during scheduled working hours. The Client is strictly responsible for securing personal belongings, keeping pets indoors, and ensuring that children remain clear of the active construction zone (and heavy material staging areas) prior to our daily arrival.
Masonry and stonework are highly dependent on specific weather conditions. Mortar and concrete curing require specific temperature ranges and dry conditions. Project schedules are approximate unless expressly guaranteed in writing. The Company shall not be responsible for delays caused by severe New England weather conditions (e.g., freezing temperatures, heavy rain, or snow affecting mortar application), material supply chain shortages, or unmarked utility conflicts.
You agree to accurately identify property lines and provide complete information reasonably necessary for the Company to perform the services. Crucially, the Client is responsible for disclosing the location of all private underground utilities (e.g., invisible dog fences, private septic lines, landscape lighting, irrigation sprinkler heads) prior to any exterior excavation for retaining walls or patios. We will contact Connecticut Call Before You Dig (CBYD 811) for public utility locates as required by law prior to major earthwork.
The Company maintains comprehensive commercial professional and general liability insurance. However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's aggregate liability arising from its services will be strictly limited to the direct cost of correcting our specific scope of work as permitted under the applicable agreement. We are explicitly not responsible for pre-existing foundation or soil settling issues, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages.
If you voluntarily opt-in to receive text messages from us, you agree to receive automated SMS/MMS messages strictly for operational project management, masonry schedule updates, and customer service communications. We do not use text messaging for marketing or promotional campaigns.
Operational message examples include: "RONNIE DEMEO CONSTRUCTION: The pallet of bluestone for your patio project is scheduled for delivery tomorrow at 8:00 AM."
Message frequency varies based on the active phase of your masonry project. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is completely voluntary and is explicitly non-mandatory; opting out will not affect your ability to secure our stonework services. You may withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP.
We strictly protect your mobile data. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent data with any third parties, affiliates, material suppliers, or external subcontractors for any purpose.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, masonry design plans, 3D hardscaping renderings, proposals, designs, and project photography created by RONNIE DEMEO CONSTRUCTION, INC. remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Company. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or use proprietary materials for another project or third-party contractor without the Company's express written permission.
These Terms and Conditions and all masonry contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes arising from our services must be resolved through good faith negotiation. If litigation becomes necessary, both parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Hartford County, Connecticut.
